Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to detect and deter security breaches, unauthorized access, and suspicious activities.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security risks and respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Provide a visible presence to deter crime and maintain a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents, and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate as necessary.
- Perform access control duties, including verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and controlling entry and exit points.
- Report any security incidents, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to senior security personnel or management.
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations, first aid, and fire prevention measures.
- Maintain accurate records and log entries of security activities, incidents, and observations.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols related to security operations and conduct.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is plus.
- Strong observation and surveillance skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform security duties effectively.
